Quilling is also known as paper filigree and produces some really delicate projects.  I started quilling when I bought my daughter Janet Wilsons book on quilling and soon got hooked!

I'm still practising but here are my first 2 projects.

This is my first ever attempt at quilling, I was really pleased with it although I recognised that the centres were too loose. This was caused in part from using a quilling tool with a large centre, combined with a loose tension. Hopefully this will be avoided in the future. The initial is stippled on parchment paper.

This is my 2nd project and already the centres are a lot tighter, but still some practising to do.

The white struts of the basket are made from cigarette papers.
